Its funny, but the best matches ever, involve either Hogan, The Rock or Mick Foley.......go figure!

Mick blew as a wrestling in general? I am sorry but anyone who steps in the ring and has a match that people remember and ends up being one of the greatest guys deserves to be called a great wrestler. What the hell else is he? What the hell else is he doing but wrestling? If I recall he didn't just do promos. He was in matches that people call great and amazing etc. NO ONE says ECW guys weren't wrestlers so why does Mick have to be labeled a "hardcore" wrestler. I find that a HUGE insult to Mick Foley and as wrestling fans it makes me wonder if fans today even know what it means for someone to be a professional wrestler.

Being a technical wrestler doesn't mean they deserve to be called a wrestler more than the likes of Hogan, Mick or anyone else and for you to suggest that is just insane. They are ALL wrestlers because they step into the ring and when they leave they have entertained us in a wrestling match.

People seriously need to think when they post.

^^^ btw thats an old poll The Crock ran a few months ago. He listed over 100 matches I think and this were the finalists!!!

Like I said he wasnt that great of a wrestler. If you really think he is you are crazy. He works with what he has thats what makes him so good. His said in interviews he's not that good of a wrestler..

On Foley, he may not be Chris Benoit or Kurt Angle, but he can still get it done in the ring. Mind Games '97 wasn't a spotfest (sure he had Shawn in there) but the match still told a great story which was mixed with the announce table spot.

Also, Candido vs Cactus in SMW, which appears on Foley's Greatest Matches DVD, is a pretty technically sound match.

At least Flair put people over. He may be jerk, but Hogan is too and he still refuses to lose.

Sure, I admit he was a great wrestler.

Sabac obiously doesn't understand what it means to be a wrestler. When Foley said that he was talking to fans like you who think that the only thing that makes someone a good wrestler is by how good technicaly they are. For true fans like me, we know better. We understand that a great wrestler is someone who has made a big impact in wrestling and is a legend. People are always saying that Hogan, THe rock, Mickey, etc can't wrestle. I don't recall the majority of fans or even the minority of fans complaining that their matches sucked lke they do when a newbie has a bad match. If they can come ut of that ring leaving fans in awe or happy, then they are a great wrestler.

I covered this in my last post and made it very clear that being a good wrestler is more than just being good technically. Nice to see you totally ignore that Sabac.

He lost to the Rock, he lost to the Warrior. I don't blame Hogan totally for not wanting to lose. Look how long Vince wanted him to stay champ back then. I don't think Hogan would be as big as he is today if he has lost and won the title a bunch of times.
