WWE gets turned down over and over again

Here are some tidbits regarding to SpikeTV dropping WWE.

Both sides seem to be under some sort of a gag order, so details have yet to be released, but weâ€™re expecting more news from this situation soon. Despite the tough negotiations, WWE was surprised to have been let go, which they now feel will take their leverage from negotiations with USA. But we know that WWE would be more than happy to join USA once again.

We have also read reports indicating that TNT, TBS and FX all turned WWE down for negotiations. This, too, is a bad sign for any other wrestling organization, for a promotion with as much of a fan base as WWE to be turned down, its clear that these networks arenâ€™t interested in pushing a wrestling product.

Wrestling is not that good anymore and that is the reason for those stations turning the wwe down. Really bad spot for us fans.

Ehh I still think wrestling would be better than some crap they show on tv. Usually they just repeat old movies, I'm sure one night of wrestling per week would help...

I don't get it..I know wrestling isn't pulling in 7.0-8.0 ratings anymore, but a 4.0-4.5 rating still pounds 95% of the shit that's on cable.

TBS and TNT suck ass...I don't know why they wouldn't want wrestling.

Well I think TNT & TBS might be wary of having wrestling after getting burned by WCW, even thought it seems that TBS only airs reruns of old shows/movies and and some sports programming. I think Spike TV are idiots since Raw is their highest rated show and almost always finish in the top 15 of cable programming.
