Lawrence Pfohl, wrestling's 'Lex Luger,' was arrested Monday morning on DUI and other related charges. Authorities made the arrest on 1-575, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

A Cobb County officer found Pfohl stopped on the side of the interstate highway. The officer, upon investigating the car, discovered Pfohl slumped over his steering wheel.

The former pro wrestler eventually woke up and drove away and the officer called authorities for assistance. He was later taken into custody on charges that included DUI, driving on an expired tag, alteration of tag, no proof of insurance and having an open container.

On the Celebrity Justice's website it has the police reports from Lex Luger's DUI arrest this past Monday. The arrest is one of the main stories on the site and it was also picked up by the Associated Press too. On the report it says that, Luger claimed his last drink was "about seven hours ago" however authorities found an open vodka bottle in the car. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Lex Luger pleaded guilty today to possession of steroids and received five years probation. He was also fined $1,000 and ordered to submit to drug tests.

Luger was charged in April 2003 after he called 911 to report that his girlfriend Elizabeth "Miss Elizabeth" Hulette was choking. She subsequently died, with her death being ruled as accidental and the result of an overdose of pills and alcohol. But police found over 1,000 steroid pills when searching Luger's home.

As I reported previously, Luger was also arrested on Monday and charged with DUI among other charges. At his hearing today, Judge Frank R. Cox told him that another similar arrest could affect his parole status on the steroid charges, which could carry a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison.
