At the end of the Royal Rumble match, after Batista and John Cena spilled out of the ring at the same time, Vince McMahon came down to ringside to give orders to the referees as to what to do with the match. As he got near the ring, he slammed into it and appeared to suffer a leg injury in the process. When he got in the ring and tried to get up, his right knee buckled and he immediately fell down, landing on his rear end. He then gave orders to the refs to restart the match, while sitting in the ring, which Batista won. Once he got to the back, he was attended to by the trainer and there was a big crowd of people around him. The initial prognosis was that he blew out his knee. We will update his condition when get more information.
After Vince was injured, he managed to make his way to the back under his own power by taking a few steps at a time, then stopping, and then repeating the pattern until he made it backstage. Once he got to the back, he was placed on a gurney and attended to by the medical personnel and pretty much sequestered away from the workers.
