Hulk Hogan Backstage
Hulk Hogan was backstage at the SmackDown! tapings in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday night. Hogan lives in the Tampa area so it wasn't to much of a drive.

We are not sure if he was there to speak with Vince McMahon about WrestleMania 21 or if he was just visiting friends.

Sources close to the situation tell us that Hogan and WWE officials were expected to meet and had been talking the last few weeks.

Hulk Hogan arrived with Brian Nobbs and B. Brian Blair at SmackDown! last night.

There is a ton of talk backstage that Hogan will be involved in WrestleMania 21 and this could just be the very beginning of negotiations.

The Torch reports there is talk of Hogan and Rock teaming together, or Hogan being honored with induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

There are a ton of wrestlers who live in the Tampa area so many show up backstage when WWE comes to town.

In an article about Doug Herzog's new position (president of Spike TV) in today's issue of Variety, the entertainment trade journal notes, "Execs say a decision on the future of its WWE wrestling franchise is imminent."

Hulk Hogan is in talks with WWE about a return for WrestleMania. The following is an exert from Jimmy Hart in Alex Marvez' new syndicated column. "There are negotiations going on. Hulk has put himself in good position financially and never has to do anything again, plus he's working so hard with his daughter. But the one thing is he still loves the wrestling business."
