Rep Power: 54 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Vinnie Mc Not at Raw - and now Smackdown It's a fun day at Raw this week. Vince McMahon is not at the show, which leaves Stephanie McMahon in charge to oversee the process, handle rewrites, etc. When Vince is away, chaos usually ensues and today is no different. The mood and scene backstage was described to me as "crazy". In other news from backstage at Raw, Bruce Prichard has returned from his "personal leave" and is producing segments at the show. There are at least some workers who are less than happy about this since his concept of the business went out of style in about 1985. I just talked to a few Smackdown workers who are less than happy that Prichard will be back at their taping tomorrow since they (and the Nielsen viewing public) feel that the show has gotten much better in his absence pwinsider

Rep Power: 54 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | To follow up on an earlier story, backstage at Raw has been a madhouse today. Due to Vince McMahon not being at the show, they have had to communicate with him about the direction of tonight’s broadcast via the phone. He made changes in tonight’s show, which he does pretty much every week, but because they were done late, the company’s agent and production meetings were delayed for about two hours today. Let’s put it this way, according to the people in WWE that I have talked to about this, if the product is like this every week after Vince is gone, it won’t be pretty. It’s safe to say that even in his current mindset, a good number (if not the vast majority) of WWE employees feel that the company is better off with him in charge than with him not in charge source pwinsider

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | If Stephanie is in charge of RAW, that's a bad thing. We all know who will really be doing the booking - Triple H. I hope Vince comes back to regain control of the booking. |

Rep Power: 54 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just like last night, tonight’s backstage atmosphere at Smackdown is said to be chaotic. The production meetings were delayed for two hours because Vince McMahon has had to call in changes to the show. -Vince McMahon is once again absent tonight backstage at Smackdown, however, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, & Brian Gerwitz are backstage helping run things. It is notable that Shane McMahon is not backstage in what again is a hint at what the future of the company could be with Stephanie & Triple H taking the reigns. It has been widely reported that more and more it looks as though the company will be passed down too either one of them. The running joke backstage is that Triple H is preparing himself for when he will one day be running the company as opposed to Stephanie McMahon. -Bruce Prichard also returned tonight to his duties backstage at Smackdown. His return has caused a bit of a morale drop because many of the Smackdown wrestler’s felt the product was so much better while he was away dealing with his personal issues. -David Lagana, who is the head writer for Smackdown is also not backstage as he is on vacation this week which is only adding the chaos

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | God help us all if Trips and Stephanie take over the running of the company. As of now, they're running the company into the ground. All this really means is that Trips will keep the belt indefinitely and his friends will have the remaining belts. I shudder when I think of it. Monday's RAW was proof enough of how boring things are when Trips and Stephanie run the show. |

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Vince still gets his say, Bischoff is a prime example. We need a booker who isn't a McMahon in my mind, they have too many chips on their shoulder. |
