Rep Power: 51   | WWE Bring Back December To Dismember WWE REVIVES OLD NAME FOR DECEMBER EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING PPV by Mike Johnson @ 3:14:00 PM on 8/22/2006 The name of the 12/3 ECW PPV will be "The December to Dismember", a title used during the original Extreme Championship Wrestling's run for their December 1995 ECW Arena event in Philadelphia. That show was headlined by an "Ultimate Jeopardy" Steel Cage Match with Raven and Tommy Dreamer each captaining a team. On 8/14, WWE filed for a trademark on the PPV title and announced it to their media affiliates earlier today. The December to Dismember PPV would be the first stand alone (at least in name) PPV for the new ECW brand since it was launched after One Night Stand this past June.
