The story is all being tied together regarding WWE's decisions today. The shows were canceled because Vince McMahon made the call early in the day that Big Show will replace Great Khali on Sunday, against The Undertaker, in the Punjabi Prison match. Khali also has a diseased liver and is expected to be taken off the road.

Obviously it had to end the way it did for GAB promoting but whilst Show and Taker were in the ring they really put on a clinic in wrestling pshycology for big men. Given the quality of that match I can see WWE trying to revisit it somehow down the line.
