They should have waited to announce Hogan when he would be able to make an in-person appearance. Maybe finish the rest of the tapings, and make his appearance live.

Well, at least it didn't drop. So it at least shows fans are interested to see what happens with the new developments. I'm glad Hogan hasn't shown up yet. When he does make his first real appearance, they need to plug it for weeks. Otherwise, they will get a rating like they do every week. That's one of TNA's biggest problems. They really need to work on advertising so that everyone knows when something big will happen. No more of this lousy week (If that) long build for big time matches/segments.

Hogan's run in WCW was very much a mixed bag until the formation of the nWo, The Outsiders came in, and they coupled it with new and interesting angles.
His presence alone is enough to get people talking, but I wouldn't expect the ratings to change much until we find out exactly what his involvement is going to entail.

it was 1.3 last week and it was 1.1 this week. So that is a drop.
It is amazing how some news sites and some posters bragged about a 20% increase last week, calling it significant (which I shot down). But are ignoring this drop this week, which I also do not think is significant.
but wasn't that the argument for him coming in? That he would be the mainstream guy to promote the league. The fact that he mentioned it once for 3 seconds is part of the problem
