Re: Hogan and Bischoff sign with TNA??
He may well be the most known wrestler ever, but I'm not sure he's going to make that big of an impact on the ratings. Anybody who was a Hulkamaniac in his heyday is quite probably long past wrestling, or a smark who thinks this is beyond ridiculous.

Somehow I get the feeling more people are going to care about Nigel signing than these two.
I know I do.
I think you are dead wrong.
Personally this already peaked my interest. I like the idea of Hogan and Bischoff coming in together. I honestly believe that Hogan could be that boost that they are looking for.
Call me crazy, but I will be tuning in for sure to see what happens. The question is can they use that to get over the rest of the talent while people are watching?
After reading what the vast majority think about these two coming on board, mark my words it will be the turning point for the company.

If Hogan/Bischoff's coming to TNA is the turning point for the company, I just worry that we'll never hear the end of how they put themselves over as the reasoning behind it. Wasn't there a time when Hogan said he wouldn't work for TNA?
And, why am I thinking he's doing it only to get some money back from the divorce, etc.?

Hulk Hogan is the most known wrestler ever. Hulk Hogan will be appearing on Larry King tonight. This has gotten people talking about TNA.
Thank you.
We can moan about the creative/political side of things (which, if reports are true, Bischoff will NOT be involved in), but Hogan is a major name, if not the biggest name in the history of the business. It brings attention to TNA, and if it helps them become competitive with WWE, (like Hogan signing with WCW did), then I'm fully behind it.
As far as in ring work goes, that doesn't concern me either. He'll probably work a Mick Foley like schedule, plus, how many impact matches do you see go longer than 5 minutes?

1. He may spike ratings for a few weeks, but he won't be a long term draw
2. The politics involved will most likely make the product even more unwatchable than it is now
Pretty much. When Sting signed it was the "turning point".. then when Angle signed... then Foley...
I appreciate that Hogan is the biggest name out there, but I highly doubt his arrival will result in serious growth of the company. TNA already has no direction, and with so many individuals with some degree of creative control, the whole thing will just be a mess.
I assumed they would have at least fired Russo but no...
