Kevin Nash had a huge outburst backstage at tonight's TNA Impact taping following Chris Sabin's injury. Following the match, Nash was screaming to whoever would listen that the production of the match should have been halted because of Sabin's injury and was loudly complaining that the company continued on with the match when it was obvious Sabin had injured his neck.
TNA sources also confirmed that when Nash went out before the crowd and made reference to the incident and that the company should have halted the match, he was going into business for himself and shooting. It wasn't something scripted for him or added to his promo at the last second by TNA creative. I suspect those comments will be edited off the 10/29 Impact broadcast.
One rumor making the rounds is that Nash was screaming at Team 3D for the situation, but according to witnesses I spoke to, there isn't anything to that. I was told Nash wasn't yelling at 3D or any other talents during his tirade but more screaming and "throwing a tantrum to anyone in ear shot" about the production truck not being responsible to the wrestlers.
As one source noted about that story, had Nash been complaining about 3D continuing the match and "not protecting Sabin" following the injury, there would be a lot of irony there as when Nash blew out his quadriceps during a July 2002 episode of Monday Night Raw, it was Brother Ray who immediately realized something was wrong and pulled Nash to the ropes during a 10 Man tag bout.
There's no word yet as to whether TNA management spoke to Nash following his outburst and unscripted comments on the mic.

I remember that match. Didn't Nash get injured when he stepped over the ropes to enter the ring. I seem to recall Nash stepping into the ring and just immediately crumpling to the mat. It was a very odd moment. It was kindof like when a sad clown makes you laugh I guess.

Chris Sabin suffered a concussion at the TNA Impact TV tapings on Wednesday night in Orlando, FL. Sabin's concussion took place during a tag team match between The Motor City Machineguns and Team 3D when Sabin landed awkwardly.
Sabin reportedly told people backstage that he was out cold during the match, but somehow regained his composure and finished the finish. We're told Kevin Nash blew up backstage about the incident and was overhead yelling at Team 3D for not killing the original finish as he felt Sabin's health should have been the first priority.
Nash felt that as veterans, Team 3D should have made that call on the fly and that someone in production could have given a cue to the referee to end the match. While it probably won't air, Nash did walk out in front of the Impact Zone and cut a promo about how upset he was that the match continued as Sabin was laying on the ring apron. Sabin was said to be feeling much better after the taping had finished. Nash is being praised internally for show that he legitimately cared about the safety of his coworkers.
Glad it's not a major injury for Sabin as it seems the Machine Guns are about to be pushed beyond comedy segments.

Wow, didn't know Sabin got injured. I'm kind of happy Nash voiced his opinion, but at the same time that was Sabin's decision. Sabin got injured and decided to go for the finish. He could of just told Shelley to do the finish and I'm sure Team 3D could of improvised as well. I just think Nash is upset with other things in management and this was his perfect opportunity to go against them.
Hopefully Sabin is alright.
