Jim Ross Suffers Third Bout Of Bells Palsy

Bell's palsy is a temporary form of facial paralysis that occurs as a result of damage to the nerves that control the muscles in the face. The symptoms can occur suddenly, and range from almost unnoticeable to severe. In some cases, the effects of a Bell's palsy attack can go away completely, while in others, permanent damage can occur.

Jim Ross has stated that he has every intention of calling tonight's Smackdown with Jerry Lawler, and if need be, have Michael Cole involved in the broadcast.

Ross will not call Smackdown this week, and his status for this Sunday's PPV is unclear right now, although Ross wrote that he wants to be part of the show.

Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler will call this week's Smackdown. As previously reported, Todd Grisham is off this week for his honeymoon, so Smackdown will be called by the Raw announce crew.

I hope JR has a speedy recovery. Although it doesn't make sense having Cole and Lawler call Smackdown, I'd rather JR rested than risk any further problems.

Hopefully it's not too serious and he recovers soon. JR missing the PPV would suck both for him and the fans.

But for fuck's sake, I am tired of hearing from that twat Michael Cole. I want to commit murder every time I hear his voice.

Rest JR. Come back soon so Cole doesn't butcher the best show on WWE. Why not get Striker and Matthews to call Smackdown?

If JR isn't back by the SmackDown following Bragging Rights, moving Striker up to the SD table with Grisham is the best plan. Their chemistry is insane.

JR is one of the most respected men in WWE, and I hope he recover's quickly, but I know it wont be soon.

JR is a legit Hall OF Famer and well worthy of his title, while he's not as good as he once was, he's still miles better than the majority of commentators out there... My point was, if it's extended leave that he needs, moving Striker onto SmackDown for that time is the best option.

I didn't wish JR well because I felt is was implied by the fact that I'm not an arsehole and don't wish him ill. If JR was forced into retirement by this I would be gutted.
