Yep, my neurologist cleared my travel because the flight was only 40 minutes and I'm drive home after the game w/ friends. Here's the latest. I had a MRI Friday on my brain and inner ear and will get the result, hopefully, Monday afternoon. Hopefully, that will be good news. I'm thinking it will. My right eye is problematic but we have the meds in place to protect my cornea due to the dryness issues. My vision is blurred in the right eye but I'm optimistic it will improve. Senstive hearing on certain tones remain as are frequent migrain-like headaches but I'm dealing w/ it. No worries. The right side of my face isn't sagging as bad as my two previous bouts of Bells palsy. Still, my "leading man" status is in jeopardy. The doctors won't and can't provide me a timeline as to when I will return but, without fail, I will return at some point "Sooner" than later. And w/ more P&V than ever! Certainly not pleased to be missing WWE Bragging Rights Sunday on PPV but will watch it from home in Norman.

Certainly, it'd crush the wrestling community to lose such a great man even for one night. I hate that he will miss Bragging Rights because I know how much it hurts him but if he needs rest then take all the rest he can get.
Today's MRI results were not what we had expected and we have more work to do. More tests resume tomorrow morning as the bumps in the road continue. I still remain confident that all these health issues will work out in due time. The road just got a little bumpier, or so it seems, for now, but that's when people roll up their sleeves and fight just a little harder.
It seems that my neurologist and the radiologist who read my MRI of my brain have differing opinions. So we start over to some degree Tuesday and in more intense detail to determine the answers we need to have to move forward.
Jim Ross posted a new blog entry on his official website, jrsbbq.com
The most important matter in the blog was an update on Ross' health, as he wrote they have ruled out multiple scleroses, which is wonderful news. Ross wrote they had been waiting a week to get word back on that matter. Ross wrote, "We have more tests scheduled next week as the process is essentially trying to eliminate issues that I might have but likely don't. The waiting process gets a little stressful and my wife is a Saint for putting up with my orneriness as patience isn't a virtue for yours truly. "
Other highlights from the blog:
-One concerned emailer to this site responded to my last blog with the fact that WWE has "moved on without me." The way I see it, WWE had to move on without me, for now, as they have shows to do and I am unable to carry my share of the water. If the new broadcast teams click and I am not needed on a weekly basis then, poor me, I will find other projects on which to work. Yeah, getting off the road 51 weeks a year would be a real heart breaker. I'm partially joking here but until I get healthy WWE has to move forward without me and get their work done. I am pulling for Todd Grisham and Matt Striker to light it up on Friday night's.
-Good to see Lance Cade regroup and get back with WWE. Cade has size, athletic ability and the potential to be a really top hand and I hope that he makes it. Many of us have received second chances, or more, in our lives and I am a strong believer that second chances are a good thing. I hope that Lance realizes his dreams of becoming a main event level, WWE star and on a personal level I would love to see Cade in an issue with his mentor Shawn Michaels down the road.
-Did you know that Paul Heyman "consults" Brock Lesnar on selected projects? Strategic move by Brock who doesn't like to deal with matters of this sort. I hope the UFC Champion gets well soon and enjoys the holidays while preparing for his next fight tentatively scheduled for January 2010. If I'm still on IR, or whatever, I might try and make that one in Vegas.
I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be surprised to see WWE "retire" JR at the end of his contract. There is a chance WWE could just be trying to hire an extra guy just in case things don't work out and still fully intend on extending JR's contract. Hopefully things look up for him.

Don't read too much into that job advert, it's perminantly on the corp site. Every few months I check out the site and that job is always listed.
Great to hear JR is in good spirits, hopefully he can make a full recovery and return in the not too distant future.
