According to F4WOnline.com CM Punk is in the dog house in WWE right now over something that happened on the most recent overseas tour.
Apparently this is part of the reason why WWE decided to open the Hell In A Cell PPV with CM Punk dropping the World title to The Undertaker.
I would say that him being in the doghouse is the reason Triple H didn't give him an inch in the Smackdown main event, but that would've happened anyway.

Punk is in the doghouse again because during the last European Tour, people noted that he was not "dressing like a champion should". Taker calmly said to him backstage that he (Punk) is the champ and is the face of the company, so he should dress in public like a Champion should. Punk supposedly replied, "Ok, but what about John Cena?" It got back to the office and supposedly some people felt that Punk saying that was him saying he was as big of a star as Cena and not just a comment on clothing, and therefore was punished tonight to "put him in his place".

Punk's been "in the doghouse" since he joined the company. These reports come out every few months about him. I really wouldn't read too much into them.

Yeah, I don't know. It's hard to say because the match was a huge let down and it would make sense and from everything I've heard there is this big dress code for champions.. I dunno. Would be ridiculous if true, though.

This is stupid. Your "dress code" should be to look like your character around the fans, and Punk doesn't play a CEO in the WWE. This is more BS from the aging "big stars." And the term "got back to the office" means Mark Calaway (Taker) ran and told Vince. What a bitch thing to do.

It seems like every time he loses, rumors come out that he's in trouble. He lost a match that most people didn't feel he could win without some kind of interference. At this point in time, SD doesn't have any other heels for Taker to feud with besides Kane. Punk will win the title again in a month or two.

Wasn't he in the dog house a few weeks before winning Money in the Bank all because he lost the Intercontinental title? And then before he won the Tag Titles with Kofi? And back in 2007 when he lost to HCH? Geeze, for a guy who's always in the dog house, he's doing well for himself; it's not like he won the world title twice this year, money in the bank (back-to-back), the inc title, had a character change and became the top heel of Smackdown. He lost the title to one of the top dogs in the business. Even if he had lost the title to somebody who wasn't Taker, I still wouldn't have believed this report, he dropped the gold to a wrestler who is classed as one of the best in the business, it's not exactly a tragedy. Chances are, Punk will be getting the title back and his push will carry on, Taker never really holds the title for that long.
