Assuming this is true, lame. Hard to get excited for a pre-taped segment (remember his pre-taped segment from Raw early last year?). The least he could do is show up, especially considering he owes his fame to WWE.

Before, actually. When he came back from Hollywood, it didn't feel the same. Not because of the heel turn or the character, but because we all kind of knew that The Rock wasn't going to stay. He's always wanted to be an actor and has always wanted to be in movies. He also has told magazines that his wrestling career is behind him and he wants to be taken seriously as an actor. The only thing that has me scratching my head is what Deuce said. If he wants people to stop talking about his wrestling career, why does he keep making these kinds of appearances? You're just giving them more to talk about.
Maybe cause he makes shit movies and wants something good to do every now and then, i.e, wrestling appearance?

Yeah and it was the best part of the show. Rock on this show in any shape or form gets the thumbs up from me.
