The Montreal Screwjob wasn't that bigger deal, its just that many people people hyped it up so much that it became a huge taboo. Who's to say Bret Hart wasn't in on the whole thing himself? Haven't you been reading the various reports over the past few months about how he was taking shots at Shawn Michaels? Saying how he wouldn't work for Vince? Guess not, I guess I'm in the minority that look at the bigger picture rather then one report.
I love the suggestive thoughts though.
Because it's been nearly 12 years and yet everyone involved still calls it a shoot? What's the point of still denying the truth when Bret has been long retired?
You're acting as if he said all these comments about hating Vince and never working in the WWE again and the very next day he said the opposite. From his interviews, he has slowly became less upset about everything. At no time did it even confirm that Bret would be returning. All Bret said was that he was open to the idea of talking about a return. He was not kissing Vince's ass or singing the praises of the WWE.

Denying the truth but yet your acting as if you know the truth? Strange.
Bret Hart and his mood swings have been going on for a long time, he goes back and forward with his comments and never keeps his word. One minute he hates Vince and he hates Shawn. Next he's contemplating sucking back up to Vince and returning to the WWE.
The guys messed up but as I said in a previous post, I feel sorry for him and its understandable why he goes from singing Vince's praises to talking smack about him.
