World Wrestling Entertainment has also released developmental talent Espiral aka Lucha star Sicodelico Jr. He was the last name we had heard was released over the weekend, but weren't able to officially confirm it until today.
Other developmental talents released over the weekend included Kris Logan, Aiden Frost, Troy Jackman and Fletcher Chase.

Perhaps Cornette was released because he should have some power in creative...? If Jarrett has no hand in that end anymore, then maybe its a consolidation of power move by Russo or even Angle? Who knows what backstage politics are involved?

TNA is cleaning out all of Jarretts buddys and setting up to buy him out and firing him for porking Kurts ex-wife. Its a joke if you ask me. Can't bang the ex-wife of another wrestler? Thats pretty stupid if you ask me.

The only WWE developmental names I recognize are Kris Logan and Fletcher Chase. The others have barely even been on FCW TV in the last 6 weeks.
I think dencar is right, i've read about B.G. James being released. I haven't seen anything about Kip. Is Gerweck even considered reliable?

Cornette books the best think in TNA in months with the wild brawl a month or so ago and now gets released? I think Cornette has a great wrestling mind but for some reason wears out welcomes. I think Ring of Honor or maybe going back to OVW would be the best bet for him at this time.
I also saw that it was BG James not Kip that got released. I think they are still testing Kip too see if somehow they can get him over.
