The 9/14 edition of Raw did a 3.4 rating, down a little more than 10% from last week's 3.8. The show did hours of 3.27 and 3.51.
Given that it went up against an opening weekend doubleheader of Monday Night Football, plus the debut of the much-talked about Jay Leno Show, that is not a bad number at all. The Bills-Patriots game did a 10.4 while the Raiders-Chargers nightcap did an 8.9, so WWE had some serious competition for viewers.

WWE needs to focus more on having at least one PPV caliber 15-20 minute match (Even if it features midcarders), as well as angles on Raw if they want the ratings to go up. There is too much pointless fluff as opposed to angles.
