Breaking NEWS Concerning the Future of D-X and more..
Stephanie McMahon pitched to Vince McMahon a DX vs. Evolution battle at this year's Summerslam. Although nothing has been confirmed, apparently the DX reunion went better than expected, and the general backstage feeling is that the group will last probably to the end of the year. Shawn Micheals planned to take a ring absence after Vengence however, he nixed the idea and decided to work a limited schedule throughout the summer. Due the lack of details, many are clueless at this point about Batista, not only is he on Smackdown, he is also face-so is Ric Flair. The faction of Evolution would include Batista, Orton, and Flair unless WWE plans to go with Flair and Orton as the only two members of Evolution. X-pac is scheduled is make his DX return in the coming weeks possibly as soon as this Sunday's Vengence. We will try to keep you as updated as possible on the release of anymore details.
I didn't know that was confirmed but if he comes back at Vengence, he would be a good replacement for Shawn if he decides to go for surgery. HBK should be confined to a managers role if he needs surgery.

Evolution only works if they bring Batista back over (thereby killing SD dead since they've been building him up to be their saviour for the last couple of months).
Or are we saying Evolution is now an injury prone ill discipline prone Orton and the soon to be 60 year old Flair?
Batista would then also have to turn heel in this.
The whole thing smacks (as usual and symptomatic of Steph and her booking team) of short term on the fly booking that is changed weekly depending on her mood and ultimately never get's anyone anywhere.
They pitch a DX come back to facilitate Hunters face turn, fine. They think this'll be short term and now want it long term because of the crowds reaction to it. Seriously? They didn't know that a DX reunion would be adored? They don't know their audience even a little bit if that is the case.
But then they think, oh crap we've only got the Spirit Squad to feud them off with, let's have "yet another" unexplained roster switch and boot Orton over to Raw and then we'll have a lame version of Evolution to feud them with.
This company will never ever get better. Every time they take one step forward they take three back and the reason, as is the reason with everything crap about them, is that Steph is not a creative individual, her Daddy let's her do anything she likes and will never relieve her of this role, and she employs writers that know absolutely nothing about wrestlers and just failed in their own fields of sitcom writers.

I agree with you.. It'd be a nice visual of D-X vs. Evolution but my interest would last about 5 minutes..
I like the return of D-X and I'd like to see it last a little while, but the more I see it, the more HBK looks out of place..
Also, this wouldn't exactly help Batista long term either because Evolution would have to be heel and right now Batista is HUGE over as a face, which is hard to come by..
I know you and many others hate Dave, but he is over and I don't think hey should fuck with it..
Like I said, it'd be cool to see for a bout 5 minutes but they need something more long term that can stick..
I think ECW is your best hope for long term planning..
I get a funny feeling that pretty soon RAW is going to run out of these "Mark Out" moments and then we'll be back to 2002-03 all over again..
