Seems logical, he has some previous with WWE, I remember Batista and Taker going to watch him train in his gym before the Mayweather fight. Also it's a name the US fans will have heard of. I wonder if he'll KO The Big Show?
They should have tried to get a soccer star. Even if some Americans wouldn't know him, it's not the first time their guest(s) have been unknown to the masses.

Roddy Piper is under consideration to host the 11/16 Monday Night Raw in Madison Square Garden. I am told that there is another name WWE has been working on for that night, but if that doesn't pan out, Piper will probably get the nod.

WWE announces Slammy Award three hour Raw special WWE announced today that they will be doing a Slammy Awards special on 12/14 in Corpus Christi, a three hour Raw starting at 8 p.m., with Dennis Miller as the host
Ricky Hatton slurring his way through a Raw should be pretty amusing.
If he get's involved with anybody it'll be somebody lower down the card than Batista. It'll end with Hatton giving whoever it is a knockout punch, so I don't see it being a guy over a certain level.
