WWE brought this on themselves. Edge and Jericho have had to wrestle an insane amount of matches recently (between Sun and Tues, they each wrestled SIX matches!), and an injury was bound to happen.
Oh, please. The WWE did not bring this on themselves any more than it's the NFL's fault when a player gets hurt. That's ridiculous.

Edge only failed the wellness policy once. Edge has been pretty small most of the time, so it's safe to say he is not using steroids (at least not in the last couple of years).

This sucks, but it's going to be interesting to see how they fill the void and more importantly who with. Do they give Kane a world title run/shot/storyline to kill time with a wrestler who has been there done that? Or do they risk someone new? But the thing I really want to know is this, what the hell are they going to do with the Tag Titles?
I wish Edge a healthy recovery, it sucks he's injured, bu he has been working a pretty tough schedule, and these things happen.

They've jobbed him out alot, but Kane could still be a legit top guy on Smackdown. Well, have they even got a choice? Taker won't be back til around SummerSlam, and that leaves them at a loss. The only problem with Kane is that I hate seeing him compete with guys like Punk and Rey, because he's too big and the match is just boring. Personally, i'm not even bothered about Kane, he's a decent guy and everything, but the past few years i've not been entertained by him in the ring. But I think with Punk, Rey, Jeff, Jericho, it'll do for the time being - throw in Kane if they NEED too, heck put Christian on Smackdown too (I wish), they'll be fine.

This really sucks in my opinion, i was really liking the whole idea of Jericho and Edge together as unified champs. So now what? I hope they just dont throw em on rhodes and dibiase, i really like dibiase but i hope jericho finds another partner, i don;t know who that could be but.... i think it would be cool if christian stepped in and they could have a story on how like jericho lost edge so he went after christian with an offer. It would get christian on all three shows which i think would be a good thing with him being able to work with anyone well and him and jericho have history anyway.
Whatever happens will be at least a week away, they already taped Raw/ECW/SuperStars/SmackDown for this week (since all 3 brands will be on international tours) and thus won't be able to mention them. I have heard speculation that they may try and blame the injury on what happens at the SmackDown taping (since they can just dub over the commentary they already did).
