as far as the tag belts go, why not have a fatal 4 way at NoC:
cryme tyme vs legacy vs colons vs harts.
might not have a lot of build but it would still be a good match.

Damn. If it actually is then he may be back in December if he is very very very lucky. Right now it looks as if he is going to be back sometime between the Rumble & Mania.
I tore an achilles tendon once playing football (Soccer, not the US one). I can tell you, it hurts like hell.
Sucks for Edge, especially as he'd finally left that horrible Vickie crap behind and was on the way back to good booking. Legacy for the titles, give the guys an actual push beyond being Orton's douchey sidekicks.

As for doubt on Punk turning, if people doubted it after last week's epicness ("Just say no"), then I don't think they're to bright.
It sucks that Edge is injured, it really does. They finally moved him away from the main event picture whilst still giving him an active role in the show. Not to mention he and Jericho are the first tag team champions in a very long while that I actually give a fuck about.
They could always have Jericho carry both the tag team titles and defend them in handicap matches, THAT has never been done before, at least to my knowledge. He's already held 2 world titles simoltaneously, so it would suit him at least.
I expect Edge to return a few months down the road as a babyface. It seemed like they were already shifting him in that direction before he teamed with Jericho, so this could actually make it easier. After CM Punk establishes himself as the "straight edge" top heel on Smackdown and beats everyone there is to beat, having the Rated R Superstar make a surprise return to feud with him could be a huge match.
I just hope he isn't out too long. I've heard reports of "several months", I just hope it doesn't keep him out of WM next year.
