If you don't watch the shows, or even keep up with results you're not really in any position to saywhat should be done, because you don't know what the situation is. There is no heel that could step in and fill the void left by Edge without it making zero sense. I think them dropping the belts is probably the only option at this stage. They can turn Edge face another way when he returns.
You complained about what happened in Monstor's ball without even seeing the match. I am merely giving suggestions, not saying what should be done.

That is completely different, because I was complaining about the idea of a woman getting thrown in tacks whether it "works" in the match or not. I wasn't commenting on the quality of the match or anything like that.
But yeah... how are they even gonna have Jericho drop them?

Teddy will strip Jericho of the titles, explaining Edge was injured and that the titles will be decided at Night of Champions. Could also say he's just further shaking things up. Jericho meanwhile can cry about being held down by hypocritical General Managers blah blah blah.

Assuming the injury is as bad as expected, Edge and Jericho get stripped of the titles. Run a small tournament for the vacant belts-the belts can be defended on all 3 brands, so teams from all 3 brands are eligible. Legacy gets the win, but other teams that could use elevation-like the Harts-should be showcased as well. Not jobbed out in the first round.

Yeah that is probably what will happen. The problem is, as much as I have complained in the past about main eventers holding tag gold, there is nobody else good enough to hold those titles.
Yup. And WWE, being WWE, didn't bother to think, "Well shit, we should probably have a few strong teams in case anything ever happens." The Hart Dynasty were looking on the right track to perhaps taking them, though the loss to Cryme Tyme seems to set them back a long, long way imo. Somehow I think they'll end up with them anyway since Legacy are just there to be beaten up by Triple H, Shane McMahon and Batista, and Cryme Tyme sucks. Unless I'm forgetting a team, but I don't think I am.

Oh, and the tourney wouldn't work. RAW has already been taped for this week, so that means they'd have one week of each show, plus one extra SmackDown! before Night of Champions. Seems too rushed to me. I think they might just have every brand put a team up. idk who ECW have, but I'm sure they can stick two guys together.

Correct. To have a tournament work, and actually mean something, it can't be rushed. And , since WWE seems to slways be up against some sort of imaginary deadline that they impose on themselves, any kind of tournament would be rushed through. Can't waste time on something as unimportant as the tag titles when there's Backstage Wackiness with HHH and Orton waiting!
