I seem to recall hearing Eddie left Vickie with a lot of debts at the time of his death. Fearing that they would lose their home, I assume that's why Vince originally gave Vickie a job. When you also take in consideration of Eddie's oldest child nearing college, I can see how even if Vickie got the rest of Eddie's contract, that money could be tight.

Actually, neither Shane nor Stephanie could be considered spoiled. All reports we have indicate that Vince made both earn their spots in the company. Shane started out as a member of the ring crew (putting together and taking apart the ring). He was also a referee for awhile and worked in their corporate offices for several years before getting on camera as an entertainer. Same with Stephanie, although not as much because Shane will probably be given control of the company when Vince retires and thus he wants Shane to have earned it.

You have any proof of your accusation about Shane having ADHD? I have never seen any reliable source on that and he seems fine off-camera. I see no reason he wouldn't be given control of the company.

I believe it was Bill Apter that reported that in all likelihood Shane with be taking Vince's position when it becomes necessary. While Steph handles a lot of the creative side currently, she demands very little respect in the locker room, while Shane is well liked and is already treated by most as Vince's successor.
Interestingly he did also say that Triple H was another contender, due to his own locker room savy, but I doubt Hunter would be considered above either of Vince's actual offspring.

Reports that she was forced to pay for her own hotel room and transportation also appear to be false. There has been discussion about her treatment in the company, but it definitely appears recent reports exaggerated the negatives.
