Secondly, how would that be a better example? If it is, why didn't you explain it?
A better example would be one that uses geography that somebody from a totally different country would understand.

Well, I got it the first time. But thank you anyway.

How was Vickie Guerrero not a main eventer? She was involved in most main event maches, certainly Edge ones.

The people actually in the ring, putting their bodies on the line, would probably agree that Vickie wasn't a main eventer, let alone an actual wrestler.

Vince McMahon would say differently. As he was still the focal point of WWE storylines for years, even when he wasn't wrestling.
It makes them prominent on-screen characters. Just because you're that, doesn't mean you're a main eventer. To be a main eventer you actually have to be, ya know..a wrestler.
So, using that logic, Bobby Heenan was a main eventer for Wrestlemania 3?
Sure, Heenan helped sell the main event as well. Andre's heel turn wouldn't have been as effective if he hadn't aligned himself with the most hated manager in wrestling.

Teddy Long is a prominent on-screen character. Vickie Guerror is part of the main event scene.

Steve Austin, Donald Trump & Vince McMahon wouldn't agree.
Ok, so what this all boils down to is that you don't know what a main eventer is. Helping sell the main event is totally different from being a main eventer. By that logic, the announcers are main eventers because they help put over the main event, and even talk during it, right?

How did you come to that conclusion from what I wrote. In kayfabe terms Vickie Guerrero might be involved with the whole show, but on screen she's only involved in main events.
People pay to see a main event based on the booking of the angle. It's very rare these days that you could just put two wrestlers in a match and people would buy it. As such people like Vince McMahon, Vickie Guerrero, Donald Trump etc, who are heavily involved in the hype, and who get involved in main events, are main event players. It's not like Lashley or Umaga made the Battle Of The Billionaires a success.

Heenan would probably disagree with being called a main eventer. Was he in the ring?
McMahon a main eventer? He's had a handful of PPV main events, and zero house show main events.
Long and Vickie? Same gimmick-Authority figure. Neither was an in-ring talent, therefore, they're not main eventers.
Austin, Trump, and McMahon? 2 non-wrestlers, and one wrestler who would raise holy Hell if he had to split his PPV bonus check with someone like Vickie who wasn't even in the ring for his match.
