PWInsider has confirmed that Batista has suffered a torn bicep and is scheduled to have surgery this coming Tuesday.

Batista will still be working the Extreme Rules show tonight. As of a few hours ago, he was also written into tomorrow’s RAW. Expect the injury will be worked into WWE storylines also.

There’s no word yet on the severity of the tear or how long Batista is expected out of action, but a few people have been wondering if the injury will mean an imminent return for Triple H.
One shitty day reign for Batista coming up. Awesome.

Edit: See, that's why it took a week to make the Kennedy decision. Batista had to choose between a friend and a title.
