Well, Orton got his ass kicked last week by Ric Flair, then he gets his ass beat by Batista yesterday. Orton is suppose to be the top heel and they make him look like shit. I don't understand.
Yeah, and it's not even like Orton is a shithead coward. He's just a shithead. I don't have a problem with Flair having an advantage over Orton from the beginning since he jumped him, but Flair completely dominated him until Legacy had to save his sorry ass. You don't do that to your champion! Ugh... At least Orton's performances are able to outweigh WWE's bad booking most of the time, but him losing the title is downright retarded, whether Batista is injured or not.

I'm really surprised at how many people dislike Batista? Why? He is a hard worker, very strong, always keeps himself in tip-top shape, and actually has a number of moves in the ring. On the other side, everyone seems to love Orton, who has a shockingly limited amount of moves. I don't get it.
Personally I am glad that Batista won the title, but dismayed that he is injured. Hopefully, the injury is minor enough that he will not really have to miss anything, and he can retain the title for a while. I think that he could make a really good champion.

1) How can he keep himself in tip-top shape if he's constantly getting injured?
2) Oh please, I wish he entire IWC would drop their fascination with how many moves a wrestler has. When has it ever, ever mattered? You don't need to be like AJ Styles and have every move ever invented in your moveset to be a great wrestler. Orton is amazing.
Orton could have dropped the belt to Evan Bourne for all I care and I'd still be pissed. Orton should have not dropped the belt. Period.

Yeah, someone should talk to WWE about showing some fucking consistancy. I actually like Batista, but quite honestly, having an injured man work a short Title match in a cage and having him win that match, is fucking retarded.
But seriously I don't like it when anyone gets seriously hurt. But if it means that we don't see alot more a Batista for a while again I am all for it.
Seriously hurt? Even before we learned that it was a simple tendon tear, rather than a full-on torn muscle, he had been scheduled to work a PPV cage match and written into the Raw following. That's barely hurt, nevermind seriously so.

World Wrestling Entertainment confirmed that Batista would be undergoing surgery on his left bicep today. The website noted that Batista was expected to be out of action for "four months", which would mean an October return.

This injury was all the more reason to have Orton go over and go over big.
The only reason I can see they did this was to justify Orton "taking him out" for the 2nd time. Otherwise he would have been just moving onto someone else.
They also could have had Batista win the title then move a new heel CM Punk back to Raw and beat Batista after the match.
Dumb booking and Orton seems to keep having to keep giving them more and more and they are not delivering like they did to the heel 1999-2003 HHH.

from what I just read over on wrestleview,com the WWE are thinking about holding off batista's return possibly until the Royal Rumble.
I highly doubt that. It would totally red-flag the Rumble winner, as Brain said. They've just stated he'll be back in October, so if he didn't return before the Rumble it would be a certainty that he was winning it.
Whenever Batista does return, I expect him to be doing it for the last time, and he will likely recieve the Title immediately following his arrival. He'll work a light schedule to keep his body safe for the longest amount of time humanly possible, and by the end of 2010 he will have retired... If they put him in the Hall Of Fame I will laugh my ass of.
