If he needs the money, what other choice does he really have? Signing autographs and whatnot isn't making him enough money so returning to the ring is basically the only option for big quick money.
ROH is paying him 15k per appearance. Thus far, Flair has been a part of around 4-6 shows with more to come. So he's at least received 60k-90k he's made this year from just Ring of Honor. Then there's the shoot interviews such as High Spots 4 disc interview, the new Round table discussion with Roddy Piper. There's other signing events and small indies such as BTW. Add all that with the random appearances he's made with the WWE over the past year, Flair isn't hurting for money. If he is, he needs to fucking learn how to save money. Then again, this is the same guy who had a mental breakdown because he kept "Forgetting" to pay taxes and ended up owing the US government millions of dollars. Flair needs to have some fucking pride in his work. There's so many legends who didn't even come close to having a nice farewell. Meanwhile, Flair had Wrestlemania built around him and had without question, the greatest farewell ever. If he still wants to return, then Slick Ric needs to look back on his matches. He only had a handful of good matches in the past decade.

I'd love to see him wrestle Sting & Funk one more time.
Yeah, Flair is a worse socialite than Paris Hilton, he can't just settle down to a nice little ranch in the suburbs now that he's in his 6th decade? lol. No chance.
His daughter, and both sons have been in legal trouble, and he has too. Guys probably spent all his money, needs some way to get some money to maintain.

And I'm with Ken, Flair has Foley'd his retirement pretty fucking quickly.
And how many times has Flair "retired" before?
I love how everyine is talking like a) Flair's retirement at Wrestlemaina 24 was his first one, and b) like it's a shock he's trying to get back in the ring.
Look at the facts people! When has a retirement in wrestling ever stuck?

I am pretty much with the majority here. I really don't want to see Flair come back out of retirement to wrestle again. The way he went out at Wrestlemania 24 was a very honorable way of ending his career. The WWE gave him a really good push at the end of his career which saw him go over some good talent such as Umaga and MVP. On top of that the WWE gave him the chance to go out on the grandest stages of them all against HBK. Everything about that scenerio was perfect; the build up, the fued, and the match(the atmosphere was unbelievable at the Citris Bowl for this match). There is no need to tarnish that by coming back. Maybe coming back as a manager would be acceptable.
And how many wrestlers retired without an injury being the reason?
Let's face fact's Jim, you'll know the answer to that better than me, but at a guess I'd name The Rock, Ric Flair (all of his retirements), Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, and Mick Foley. All of whom retired at least once and came back.
