WWE sent out a survey to certain members of their WWE Universe mailing list today, asking fans to respond to questions pertaining to naming a future event that would feature submission matches "for all main events on the card."
The potential names for the event were:
*WWE Total Submission
*WWE Submission Sunday
*WWE Breaking Point
*WWE Submit & Quit
Sounds like a way better concept than Extreme Rules or any other gimmick PPV other than a RAW roulette style PPV (which would be awesome). They really have enough gimmick PPVs as it is though. Atleast with this you would be garanteed a decent level of wrestling and the weaker members of the roster would REALLY get shown up.
All of the names suck apart from the top one though.

This is a good idea. Each WWE PPV should have it's own identity in order to stand out. Per example;
WrestleMania=Biggest Show of the year, nuff said
Backlash=All the required rematches from Mania, basically Mania part 2.
Breaking Point=All submission match PPV in order to replace Judgment Day
One Night Stand=All Extreme Rules matches. They should incorporate the
Raw Roullette theme to the PPV to make it a bit more exciting and unpredictable.
Night Of Champions=All belts are on the line.
SummerSlam=The WrestleMania of the summer. The biggest feuds of post
WrestleMania are settled.
Unforgiven=Scramble matches
SuperClash=They usually have a draft around this time of the year. Super Clash would be an interpromotional themed PPV, the draft would be the second RAW after Super Clash. (first RAW after a PPV usually gets a slightly higher rating so wasting a the drafts ability to raise the ratings the night after would be dumb.) At Super Clash they can do the type of matches that they do on the RAW Draft Show, aka interpromotional matches where the winner brand gets a draft pick. The idea could be that since it is a PPV instead of doing stuff like Cena VS Swagger they could do say Cena VS Taker or something equally as big with a draft pick on the line as they are trying to sell a PPV. They could also have it where each champion has to defend against a member of a different brand, giving brands a chance to effectively steal belts for their brand.
Survivor Series=Classic 5 on 5 Survivor Series matches.
Armaggeddon=A Hell In A Cell match takes place every year at this PPV.
Royal Rumble=The 30 man Royal Rumble
No Way Out=Both titles on the line in Elimination Chamber matches.
______
With that kind of 12 PPV Schedule only three PPVs don't have actual special types of themes or matches exclusive to that PPV. Those three PPVs are WrestleMania and SummerSlam which don't need gimmicks or themes, and then Backlash which has a theme of being the hangover from WrestleMania.
A good idea that's 5 years too late. WWE doesn't really have a lot of submission wrestlers nowadays. And not a lot of matches are won by submission anymore either. I like the concept though.

The lack of technical/hold-craving wrestlers will ruin this pay-per view. I, of course, imagine John Cena there. People who are excellent submission artists, like Jericho, Punk, and Umaga, will benefit. However, guys like Randy Orton, Batista, and Jeff HArdy won't.
Come to think of it, there aren't a lot of submission finishers in the WWE.
Or, it could bring out the best in a wrestler, and I look stupid.

Umaga is a ground fighter. Matches I seen in the past, he has done claw submissions. Plus, he was trained to be put into matches with long durability and to lock in submissions
