True if they are gona change the name, come up with some way better. WTF.

This reminds me of when Death Row the famous rap label changed their name to The Row to please everyone. Same thing happened with Murder Inc. changing to The Inc.

Was there any point to changing the name at all...? I can't imagine the name offending any foreign WWE viewers because I certainly wasn't offended.

Well the WWE havent confirmed this and their website still lists it under its old name.

The Bash doesn't sound drawing or attention craving at all. With the two adjectives, it at least gave you an idea of what the theme would be. Kinda weird and a bad move.

There is no real reason to change the name & The Bash sounds terrible

hopefully it doesn't get changed.

My guess would be that they changed the name to make it more likable to the rest of the world. I don't care either way, the PPV has sucked for awhile now.

Yah I mean if they are gona change it might as well do a total overhaul of the whole thing. Just create a new PPV name, and create a new history.

I remember loads of English people last year complaining about it being called the Great American Bash, so I assume if this happens all over this is the reason.

Could have just changed the name to some other big show like Starrcade >.>
