First, Hollywood takes G.I. JOE and makes them an international task force instead of an elite American fighting force. Now, WWE wants to change the name of the Great American Bash to The Bash? This is beyond stupidity.
If they are making the change, it could be to allow them to hold it outside of the US. With the name as it stands, they really can't hold it outside of the US and I think its probably the only PPV that is true for. If they are dropping the "American" part of it, I honestly do think "The Bash" sounds better than "The Great Bash".

Well this event now 6 days way from the 4th of July instead of being weeks afterwards. Now if this event was still weeks after the 4th of July I would understand but now it makes no sense.
