Silly Tommy, that would mean less money for the WWE. Who cares about quality when you can get people to pay 40 bucks every three weeks for some shitty half assed PPV? To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
One thing that could help is to lower the price for the WWE.com stream. It costs 40 dollars to buy the stream. It's the same price as ordering the PPV. Now, unless you have some sweet computer where it's a large screen, why would you choose to order the stream over the PPV? Last time I checked, the world was still suffering from a poor economy and people struggling just to keep their jobs. How does the WWE expect people to buy their PPV's when they keep upping the price? If you want less people to use illegal streams, lower the price of the WWE.com stream.

Like DD said it was a matter of time before this happened. surprised that it took this long for them to say something bout it though. Anyway they won't be able to shut down all the stream sites & even if they do somehow manage to do that all people will do it wait a couple of hours & then download it.

it's logical that they want to do something about it but they would better think about something if you want to see a ppv that you can easily watch it at wwe.com and a bit cheaper or maybe for free the next day or something. i can only speak for myself but i never paid for watching a ppv and i never will. as much as i like wwe i'm not gonna pay for something i'm gonna watch once.

If they did that, PPV buy rates would plummet.

I remember about 6 months ago Sky and The Premier League said they were gonna crack down on streaming. They did it for a couple of weeks and then just gave up. The only time they do it now is for really big matches.
WWE should just take TNA's approach and make their shows so unwatchable that most hardcore fans wouldn't even watch them for free. That in turn would kill the streams.
