If that were to happen then maybe matches would become more extreme? Who knows it could go back to real wrestling and possibly the re-birth of "hardcore" but i doubt it and it's a shame really. Would be cool to see Dreamer as GM though.
Pretty sure ECW is the best brand when it comes to wrestling.. hell the best televised in ring action going... and that's including ROH on HDNet (from what I've seen at least).

I'd like to see this happen because it might focus on ECW ratings rising. There could also be a spark come to life and revive the OLD ECW which thinking about it I very much doubt lol. Anyway my point is it would be better to have someone who knows how to handle ECW as GM than some unknown to come in and take over possibly ending up like Mike Adamle.
I hate when the WWE try and reference ECW like its the old glorified indy ECW. They arent the same, and as good a show as ECW is I wish the E had of just made a new name and sign and stuff. That being said Tommy Dreamer as ECW general manager would serve no greater purpose than Tiffany in my opinion, but if you have an idea it could be good, I dont know.

I agree with Silver Saviour. It's highly unlikely Tommy Dreamer becoming ECW GM will change anything about the programme at all, except Dreamer will do more talking and less jobbing. It's not like he'll get any power whatsoever. It's as if people are attributing the lack of hardcore violence to Tiffany being GM and not to the fact the show is PG rated and run by Vince McMahon.
