Jeremy Borash noted on his Twitter page (twitter.com/JeremyBorash) that Elijah Burke was backstage at last night's Impact taping in Orlando. Borash wrote: "Met Elijah Burke last night backstage at the iMPACT! tapings in Orlando. Nice guy..." Following his release from World Wrestling Entertainment this past November, Burke is free to appear on national television again as his 90-day no-compete clause expired earlier in the year.

I think the WWE dropped the ball on him big time. Makes me wonder if he had a drug problem, or an attitude problem, because he seemed to have all the tools.

Meh, he wouldn't do better, that's a fact. There would be no spot for him in TNA, unless he did X Division stuff, which isn't his caliber. Do think he will belong well in Indys. PWG or ROH would love to host him.

I agree, he had all the tools to be a big star in the WWE. He had the mic skills and for sure the in ring skills.
Personally, I think it's kind of stupid for all these people to be going to TNA. Unless your somebody like Mick Foley who is well known and is a main eventer, then TNA really isn't going to do anything for you. You're not going to get used any better than you were in WWE most likely. Burke would have been better in PWG or ROH because they most likely would have used him right and then he would be able to showcase alot more of his skill. TNA is just way too overcrowded right now and plus TNA is off track, way off track. Instead of focusing on all these old timers who are out of their prime, they need to be focusing more on the TNA originals and the people who built the damn company like AJ Styles and whatnot. They need to fix the problems before they bring in any more people that just add to the problem. Too many rejects there now.
