Then, he finally swung for the fences when he said, "I've been trying to wrestle him. It's not that I don't think he'll accept the challenge; he truly has a full plate. I think our fans would like to see him come back to the ring. Dwayne Johnson or the Rock or whatever he wants call himself vs. John Cena. Let's say 'WrestleMania XXVI.' "

Yep, we all saw this coming from a mile away.

God, Cena would so be the heel if that were to happen. He wouldn't be able to BUY a cheer in any arena in the world.

I would be jealous of The Rock's superiority in acting too if I were in movies like The Marine and 12 Rounds.

That's not exactly true. Cena isn't the first person to criticize The Rock about his words and actions when it comes to acting and wrestling. He's just the first to do it publicly. Besides, you can tell by the fact that he really hasn't received any heat from this that others feel the same way.

As for the match, it's not going to happen. Rock's not going to step in the ring again. It's taken him so long to get rid of the Rock gimmick from his acting profile and he knows the WWE will put Cena over. He's just going to hide behind his schedule that he could easily postpone for a day.

I really doubt it would happen, because I don't think The Rock comes back at this point.

But if the WWE could tempt him back, starting to set it up this early would be brilliant. I hate that WM doesn't seem that much bigger than most other PPVs anymore in terms of the matches. But having a whole year to build towards a one-time epic showdown between those two? That could be all kinds of awesome.

Unfortunately, it's not going to happen.

Well there is a chance that Rock would only do it if he won, although I highly doubt that Rock would ever return to the ring under any circumstances anyway.

I would have Rock go over and then Cena pull a Jericho and attack him after the match.
