Rock icons AC/DC will be performing the theme to Wrestlemania XXV, based on comments Linda McMahon made last month while appearing at the 36th Annual Global Media and Communications Conference.
There's no word yet on what song will be used as the theme.
Vince McMahon is said to be a huge fan of AC/DC, getting his first exposure to the band back in 2000 when they were performing on Saturday Night Live the night Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hosted the show for the first time.
Many will remember back in November, we reported that McMahon and John Cena were seen "rocking out" at the AC/DC concert at Madison Square Garden.

I don't really care for AC/DC one bit. Although I do agree with Thomas I do like bands preforming at pay-per-views. Except it usually works best when a band does a certain superstars theme song. Hence like Motorhead and Limp Bizkit.

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"
This is awesome. I hope they do like Limp Bizkit did and perform several songs throughout the night. Maybe one to open the show and they one in between title matches, rather than having the obligtory cool down match.
Still can't wait to see them at Wembley in June To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Anyways I agree with the abve that bands playing superstar themes live are a hit, I read somewhere that Rev theory might be playing at Raw next week for Ortons theme
