doesnt really matter anyway Like others have said Benoits getting killed
Still no reason for you to vote and spam up the thread. If you haven't seen both guys wrestle, surely you should just stay out...
As DD said, you don't have to reply to every fucking thread whether you know what you're talking about or not.
Seeing as its the final, everybody should explain themselves in this thread imo.
"A few weeks prior to signing with WCW, I witnessed Hogan wrestle Flair on Nitro. Now strictly from a fan perspective, it was very hard to watch. What I witnessed that night was two legends that were shells of their former selves still trying to do it. Watching Hogan & Flair that night just wasn't right. In my opinion the bookers were just exploiting them to try to pop a number. It was a desperate situation and that's exactly the way it came across on TV."

Are you saying you would watch Punk fuck a bald chick in a porno?

I'm saying I'd watch Punk alone in a porno.
Great finale. Probably the two top guys of the decade in America. However, Danielson will easily win this. Benoit missing out on the last few years while Danielson has been tearing it up makes it hard to vote for Benoit. I do think that had Benoit not had his meltdown and continued to wrestle, the result of the finals could be very different.
I went for Lumberdragon. Too many 4-5 star matches to count, even though when Benoit died, he did become a little less essentric and consistent. Not to take anything away from him.

But at the same time, Benoit had a lot of great stuff in 2000 and 2001, and not much footage of Danielson is around from those years.
I vote for Danielson just on the shear QUANTITY of good matches. Plenty of wrestlers have a handful of standout matches, but the real greats have dozens upon dozens, and I can't think of any wrestler this decade who can match Danielson for number of good outings. It isn't a squash by any means though.
I thought this would be harder, but really, it has to be Dragon. The consistency, the quality of his good-great-classic matches, and the rarity of his bad matches all work in his favour. Benoit arguably had the feelgood moment of the decade when he finally got the WHC after years of hard work and the hug with Eddie at WrestleMania, after a classic match. The match with Angle at Royal Rumble is one I'd say is really close to 5*. But in the second half of this decade, Dragon has put on a lot of ****+ matches, not to mention his earlier ROH stuff and the other good bouts he's had in other indies.
It's Dragon, but I'm proud that this was the finale.
Dragon for sure. While Benoit did have alot of quality matches in 2000 and 2001, Danielson takes the cake just due to the huge quantity of ****+ matches. There's so many of them it's hard to even keep track of or count. Benoit has only had a handful of ****+ matches this decade and just doesn't match up to the amount that Danielson has had. Fantastic finale, glad both of them came this far.
