I liked The Undertaker more, but Benoit was the better wrestler. I would be happy with either winning though.

Horrible draw this.

I love Undertaker, especially his current Deadman run, which has been phenomenal. He has produced so many very good to great matches this decade, especially the last few years, and has made so many wrestlers look good and got the best out of them. On the other hand, Benoit was just awesome, put on some amazing matches and carried less than great wrestlers to great matches.

Undertaker was pretty bad in 2000-2001 though, and at times in 2002-3. Since then I feel he has been pretty consistant and always delivers in big matches.

It might be controversial, but I'm going to go with Taker just because for me, he has had more great matches than Benoit this decade. Both would be worthy winners of this whole tournament though.

The only years Taker has been better than Benoit were the years Benoit was dead. Benoit easily.

I once again agree with Steve. Benoit has ability and chemistry wrestlers dream of. The countless MOTY canidates he produced exceed Taker's. Besides, Taker reminds me of Benoit these days.

I gave Taker a pity vote and it ended up being a tie. Whoops.

Taker is amazing, Benoit was amazing. Either man would do fine and I'm annoyed that these two drew against each other... Benoit/Jericho and Taker/HBK would have been awesome.

Also.. Taker like Benoit now? how do you mean? Consistency?

I really couldn't careless about Benoit. Never did, never will. No idea why people think he's so good, since I never saw anything special out of him.

Taker's the man, though.

I just hated him as a wrestler. I'm not a fan of pure technicians, and that was what Benoit was to me. He was alright, but I just don't see how people classify him as one of the best. Best technicians? Sure but these days you need more then just tech. skill.

And no, I don't hate Benoit for killing his family. Hell, I could careless since it has nothing to do with wrestling.

Well... it doesn't really matter what style you use if you're that good at it. You may not like technical wrestling as much as others, but a lot of the things that were good about Benoit were just fundamental wrestling qualities. His offence was great, he showed great intensity, he was a good seller, he made bad wrestlers look good and carried them to very good matches.

I don't see why the fact that he was a technician is a negative.
