Re: Wrestler Of The Decade- Round 2: Rey vs Homicide
Yeah Rey had too many bad years really. He was great in 2002, and has done some good stuff over the years since, but until this year, he never really had a consistently good year. From what I have seen, Homicide's ROH work blows most of Rey's stuff out of the water, and LAX have produced some pretty damn good stuff too.
Homicide.

Overall I think Mysterio has had a better decade.

Re: Wrestler Of The Decade- Round 2: Rey vs Homicide
This is tough in that Rey was incredible at times and horrible at others. Meanwhile, Homicide hasn't really been horrible. They both have had the best tag team match of the year for me (2002 and 2005) and multiple solid singles. I'll give Mysterio the slight edge though if only because he keeps proving that he's capable of being good again after so many knee injuries.

Re: Wrestler Of The Decade- Round 2: Rey vs Homicide
I was sitting on the fence but I think I also am going to go for Rey. I love Homicide, but Rey has done an excellent job of adapting his style and working around his injuries over the years.
Plus, I don't think Homicide really added much to the Unforgettable tag.

Homicide. Rey is only really good in agility and high flying and has not produced as much match of the years with those qualities than Homicide's all around talent.

As I said in the Finlay thread, I don't see anything in Homicide... And while I'm willing to check out the list of matches Jim made for me (which I've actually save for future reference) as it currently stands, what I've seen of 'Cide does not compare to what I've seen from Rey.
Rey Rey all the way... Hey, that rhymed. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
