Re: Wrestler Of The Decade- Round 1: Rock vs Eddie
Yeah, a couple of months of indy wrestling that if I had to guess, most people here hasn't seen. The guy still had a pretty poor (In ring wise) first half of his WWE career.

Guerrero competed from 2000-spring 2001 and spring 2002-fall 2005. It's barely longer than the Rock.
In WCW/WWE yes, but in his time away from WWE he also competed in other promotions like World Wrestling All-Stars.
5 years of full time wrestling for Eddie vs. 2 years of full time + 1 1/2 years part time for The Rock. Big difference.

How was he pretty bad in the ring?

Re: Wrestler Of The Decade- Round 1: Rock vs Eddie
I'm going with Guerrero on this one. I'm not a fan of Rock but I don't dislike him, I just don't think he has as many good matches as Eddie did in this decade. Eddie had alot of good matches with Angle, Benoit, JBL, and his match against Lesnar at NWO was pretty damn good too. Rock had good matches too, but in my opinion, not more than Eddie had. Final vote goes to Guerrero who I think is all around the better wrestler just in general.

First, it wasn't a full five years. And it's all about quality. Eddie has just a year or a year and a half on Rock. But Rock was used in the bigger matches that led to easily better matches from 2000-summer 2002. Thinking back, I can't think of Eddie doing anything of real quality on PPV in 2000 or 2001. 2002 he had the Survivor Series match only. 2003 he had the TWGTT series only. 2004 he had Brock, Angle matches, JBL JD and the Armageddon. 2005 he doesn't have anything in my opinion. Yet Rocky has MOTY's in 2000 (Anything better than Rock vs Triple H?), 2001 (Rock vs Austin), my MOTY for 2002 (Rock vs Hogan) and MOTY 2003 with vs Austin.

4 years, 10 1/2 months. Getting pretty anal about that. He did compete full time for almost a full 5 years, just not all in WWE.

When did Guerrero have a good match with Benoit in the WWE? Benoit vs Rock at Fully Loaded was easily better than anything Benoit and Guerrero did together in the WWE. I'd also take Rock vs Brock from Summerslam over the overrated Brock vs Eddie at NWO.

I though Benoit vs. Guerrero at One Night Stand wasn't bad.

Really? I thought it was horrible. There were a lot of reports about Benoit being pissed off at Guerrero for doing shit in the match. If you have the Benoit DVD, watch their Nitro match then their ONS one. They just never clicked in WWE like they did in WCW. I don't know whether it's the fact that Benoit changed his style after the neck injury or just getting older they lost their chemistry.

Got me there, I totally forgot bout the Fully Loaded match between Rock/Benoit. That match was pure gold if you ask me. If I would have remembered that match, maybe I would have voted for Rock instead. To answer your question, their match from ONS '05 was good from what I remember, their match from Vengeance '03 was good, and I don't recall anything in particular but I'm sure they had a couple other good matches on a weekly show too or something. Shit, I think I'm going to change my vote to be honest.
Take a vote off from Guerrero and add it to The Rock for me. Which you can easily do, you can edit the poll and do that.
