I'm going with Benoit on this one. All the good/great matches Benoit had before he died, nothing that Orton has done can compare to those great matches if you ask me. I've never been a fan of Orton, and I've never seen anything special in the guy. Benoit is no doubt one of the greatest wrestlers ever and I personally think that nothing that Orton has ever done in his career, can match up to the things Benoit did in his career. Benoit had loads of great matches both in WCW and WWE.

Benoit. Forget the controversy, the guy was the wrestler you wanted to mold yourself after. All the terrific matches he had, it was unpresedented. Angle, HHH, Booker, Jarrett, Orton. He had chemistry with anyone you threw in the ring with him.

Randy Orton didn't even start being good until around 2005/2006. Orton is a good wrestler, but has only sometimes been entertaining. He is also very repetitive, both on the mic and in the ring. He had a 5 minute match with Primo and still managed to get in2 very long headlocks.
Benoit was a better wrestler, he was more intense, had better matches, and was in general more entertaining.
