Pure evil was Eddie during the Rey fued. That was far more evil than Trips ever was.

Triple H got my vote because he was evil as gouldinho said but he played it really really well.

Triple H tried to put HBK in a wheelchair and tried to end Austin's career by having him run over. Can you get much more evil than that?

As much as I dislike Triple H now, I thought he was incredible back in his heel days, particularly 99-2001.

I always enjoyed Eddie more as a face, although he was pretty great at both.

I love Edge but he has suffered from bad booking really. In 2006 he was an amazing heel.

During the Rey Mysterio feud, Eddie was a genius that really encompassed what it truly was to be a Classic Heel but like Tommy said, Eddie could play both sides of the card well so he's out. Edge's Rated R character Gimmick to me stands out so much that it trumps Eddie's Latino Heat and HHH's little "Cerebral Assassin" shtick but HHH gets my vote for the time that he went on to go in and steal the bosses daughter and then transition himself to burying every possible person he could. Getting the IWC to hate your guts is really hard to do but HHH knows how to do it to a point where he is one of the best Heel's of this generation and also lets not forgt his epic stuff with Evolution also.

I'm voting for Eddy. HHH and Edge just comes off as a heel that just tries to hurt the opponent physically. Where as Eddy was the heel that tries and get in the persons head and hurt them mentally.
