Trips has been on-and-off heel through his career, though his heel days are more prominent. Vader was heel for the entirity of his career across the world in a whole tonne of different promotions.
Who was the better heel?

Being one of the top stars in the WWF/E HHH was on a way higher plateau than Vader could have ever reached...ever....But HHH as a Heel really was the dominant type and the type where if you didn't agree with him, he'd bury you.....Just look at Orton as his latest victim.

Yeah, that's why I'm going Vader 110% here and I think Trips is really overated as a heel. People forget that part of being a sucessful heel is to make their opponent look good and to get the fans behind them. Post-2002 Trips has pretty much failed at doing that by constantly burying babyfaces CLEANLY and by often going over when he shouldn't have. Vader made people look good plus he came off as a legit threat at the same time.

Vader for sure. I agree with Jim, Vader was for sure the classic monster heel. Vader made the good guys look good in every single one of the promotions he wrestled in all over the world and did a fantastic job at playing heel. Plus I'm a bigger fan of Vader than I am of Triple H. Vader is an icon over in Japan and without a doubt was one of the best heels to ever wrestle in Japan.
Triple H is alright but like someone else mentioned, he would bury the face cleanly all the time and rarely ever made the face look good. That's not part of being a good heel.
Vader time!

Triple H was a great Heel for two reason. 1, he was a sadistic guy who beat the Hell out of you with no resource and flaunted his power through stables and politics. 2, I really fucking hated him for burying anyone who ever had a chance at getting over in his Heel reign.
