Re: Best Heel Ever Tournament: Harley Race vs Honky Tonk Man

Wrestling terms, there is no question that Harley kills HTM but when you look at the aspect of being the heel that gets over... HTM could be an effective heel and had something that Harley didn't have and that was charisma and a personality. Harley was Harley but to me, Honkey Tonk Man had the gimmick, the ire of the fans, the ability inside the ring to get it done and had the psychology. Harley to me really just had the in-ring work and straight mic skills.

Race spent about five years or so going from area to area making local babyfaces look great on almost a weekly basis.
