Best Heel Ever Tournament: The Undertaker vs Paul Heyman

Despite being face for most of this decade Mean Mark has been heel for the majority of his career under different twists on his character. Heyman was a heel manager of the likes of the Freebirds during the late 80's and has also managed several heels in the WWE this decade.

Mean Mark or Paul. E?

Re: Best Heel Ever Tournament: The Undertaker vs Paul Heyman

Heyman easily. Especially as the Dead Man, the fans wanted to cheer Taker. Heyman, on the other hand, could easily be booed where ever he was at.

Re: Best Heel Ever Tournament: The Undertaker vs Paul Heyman

I dunno, Heyman got cheered alot during the Invasion angle.

I'm leaning more towards Paul though, simply becuase of his stuff as a manager as Paul. E.

Re: Best Heel Ever Tournament: The Undertaker vs Paul Heyman

What does it for me is that while Paul is a creative genius and was one of the more underated managers as "Paul-E" Undertaker since about 2004 was a Face the majority of the time and was on and off during the attitude Era while Heyman was a full blown heel and was able to get the crowd to boo him in a heart beat. Although the Undertaker was able to get me very very scared when I first started watching in 1991-92 when I was little.

For me it's the undertaker taker. I can hate him, but not Paul. E.

I hated taker in 02. And dis-liked his deadman gimmick when he wouldnt talk on the mic, or very rarely.

But Paul.E he is the man. Just tells the truth and is so funny when he rants

Re: Best Heel Ever Tournament: The Undertaker vs Paul Heyman

While Undertaker is one of my all time favorites, its for his babyface runs. Plus Heyman was an amazing heel.

Re: Best Heel Ever Tournament: The Undertaker vs Paul Heyman

Besides his obvious recognition as a great Heel commentator and great Heel manager in the WWE, it should also be noted his great Heel manager work in ECW and WCW. Taker never really was anything more than a bad ass tough guy as a Heel. Or a one dimensional dark character. Heyman.
