Or rather, "Hal's Rifle." As many players of Fable 2's $10 Knothole Island add-on have discovered, the meteorologically confused island offers an anachronistic surprise within the "Box of Secrets" store. If you've got a pure experience extract potion to trade, this rapid-fire rifle (with an ammo capacity of 24!) is sure to complete that spartan ensemble in your hero's closet. Switch out those pesky Hobbes for Grunts and nobody will know you're playing a non-shooty game. Masculinity preserved!
Another futuristic, albeit considerably less charming, addition to Albion comes in the former of an alleged animation glitch. According to a PushingPlay blogger, the DLC's addition caused his character to cease walking and simply slide everywhere -- appropriate for the Knothole's (sometimes) frigid climate, but something we've asked Lionhead to look into. Check back later for Joystiq's verdict on the new quests

Just got Xbox from the lady for christmas. I need to get on live and download this, because even with all of the side quests the game was pretty short.

I know Bungie did, but Lionhead is part of Bungie...and Microsoft owns them both. Just sayin, the Fable/Halo tie in is not coincidental.
Lionhead are not part of Bungie and Microsoft only own Lionhead (Which sucks since Lionhead were much better before 2006 when Microsoft acquired them.... now it will just be Fable after Fable after Fable after Fable instead of a nice variety of games) while they don't own Bungie. Microsoft have very few in house development studios while they simply have publishing deals for most of their games like they do with Epic, Bungie and Mistwalker. And like they once had with BioWare, D.I.C.E. and Bizarre but we all know what happened with them. Big third party publishers came along and snatched up those developers leaving Microsoft with less exclusives while they were busy wasting money on Rare instead of developers that have actually have success for them..... and talent since Rare are beyond useless.
But even if you were getting your facts straight that wouldn't mean they have to gay up Fable II with Halo garbage.
