Merry Christmas everybody! We hope you're having a wonderful time. Perhaps we can make it a little bit better for some of you Europeans with the news that Killzone 2 releases here first.
Or at least that's the word from PlayFrance. We revealed the U.S. release date at the beginning of the month (27th February just to remind you) but the only sign of a date for Europe came from a Sony UK representative stating that it'd be out within a "similar timeframe."
Being a tad pessimistic, we presumed that us Brits would get the game after America, but sometimes we like to be proved wrong.
According to PlayFrance, we'll be getting the game two days earlier, on the 25th February. That's less than 2 months away!
The review copies are being sent out, so we'll be able to update our Killzone 2 hands-on in the near future. But if you want to drool over some recent Killzone 2 footage, just follow this link to our media round-up.
Whoever buys the game over there in European, let us know if it's good or not.

Meh, two days earlier isn't that bad. Sometimes we get games weeks before you guys. Can't wait for this game though, looks pretty shweet. I have yet to play Killzone 1...but my friend said it's not really a necessity.
