I haven't got a copy yet, but this game looks really badass.
Judging from what I've seen from the advertisements, I'm guessing it's a "Go to the place in red" type game, which I have to say, I'm slightly skeptical about. I think they probably pulled it off, though. So far I've heard good reviews. Average being around an 8.5/10, with some as low as 5, and some as high as 10.
Anyone here have it? I can't turn it down, due to how brilliantly immersed it is. But I'm interested in hearing what you all have to say about it, for those who have it, or have played it.
Played it round a dude's house. It was uber-fun at first, got kinda samey after a while though. Graphics are pretty sick and the whole feeling of running around the levels is great. Some annoying things like not being able to jump on certain platforms, etc but overall it's a pretty solid and original game. Not the kind of game that I'd buy personally, but it was pretty fun.
So it's kind of similar in reviews to Assassin's Creed. Fun and innovative, but a bit repetitive and not very long.
Oh well. I bought AC and enjoyed it, and I'm going to get ME as well. Seems like fun.
Any game that's got reports of it having such realism in physics that it makes people get sick to there stomach from jumping around and such, is worth a look in my book. I haven't heard reviews say that since Descent, many years ago.
This game looks pretty interesting to me, as I've looked at some screenshots and the like for it this morning.
I have a question: is this actually a shooter though? Every screenshot I saw showed a first persons view of the players hands and legs, but she never had a gun in her hand. It sounds like (from the written preview) that there's a lot of just running away.
You do get guns when you disarm he enemy and you can use them. It more hand to hand though. It is pretty fun game but then again all I have played is the demo. Graphics look good and the demo gameplay was fun.
I am pretty sure it does have multiplayer as the demo had a race option for those who pre-ordered it.
