Solid Snake is a video game character and the main protagonist of the Metal Gear series of video games by Konami. Introduced in the 1987 video game Metal Gear and created by series creator Hideo Kojima, Solid Snake is a combination spy, special operations agent, and mercenary who works for FOXHOUND, a fictional black ops and espionage unit, and Philanthropy in later games. He is repeatedly tasked with disarming and destroying the latest incarnation of Metal Gear, a bipedal, nuclear-weapon-armed mecha.

There are two Sub-Zeros, both of whom are blue-garbed Earthrealm-born warriors that descended from Cryomancers, an Outworld race possessing the ability to control the powers of ice. The elder Sub-Zero appeared in the first Mortal Kombat; after being killed by Scorpion, his younger brother replaced him for the rest of the series. The elder later became the undead Netherealm wraith, Noob Saibot.
While the younger Sub-Zero was depicted as a young Lin Kuei warrior who was living in the shadow of his older brother, he has since changed and grown into a warrior who has progressed towards the more humane sides of moral issues.

Sub Zero was my favorite MK character...but Snake's bad ass factor is way off the charts.

I voted Snake...I could see Snake vs. Kratos in the final round. Both Badass's to the extreme.

Here's how I imagine this battle playing out.

Snake is crouched behind some metal boxes, Sub Zero is looking around for him. SZ ices the floor, and in the ice sees a reflection of Snake hiding around the corner. Zero spins around the corner and releases his ice attack. But..nobody is there. Confused, Zero looks up to see Snake in the air spinning right over his head. Before Sub Zero can turn around, Snake lands behind him, and CQC's his ass via a knife to the throat.

Snake wins people.

I have grown to hate MK so Snake it is even if I have only liked one MGS game

Guess I'll throw Sub-Zero the pity vote, I've always been a bit of a MK fanboy and I've never gotten into the MGS games. Not that I'm saying MK is better, just that I've got more enjoyment out of it.
