I got the game yesterday (Friday) and i am already at 75%! I thought this was going to take a lot longer then this. The story is really really good & runs really well. My only problem thus far is the amount of no names they have you face in it. I figured you would just be against them at the start but they keep coming back throughout the story mode.
The game play is really fun & except for the occasional times when the computer doesnt lay off you for a second its really enjoyable to play the whole time.
Also, the computer uses the reversals way too much, tho its great when you reverse their reversal.
Even on the easiest difficulity, this game is fucking hard!

I love everything about this game, minus Midway's broken promises. There were a bunch of promises made before the release of the game some of which include:
- Full Metal Mayhem is Confirmed
- Monster's Ball is Confirmed
- King of the Mountain is Confirmed
- All Characters will have 4 Attires
- Over 2,000 Moves will be Included
I basically spent the whole first day of gameplay bitching about Midway's lack of professionalism in the fact that they pushed the damned game back years, only to release what seemed like it was unfinished. Then I played it some more, and fell in love with everything the game has, forgetting what it lacks. Midway did an excellent job with the mocap and design of everything. I haven't tried the online play, but from what I understand people are upset that instead of losing, people can quit mid-match and not suffer a loss or anything.

Really, whats the point in Shark Boy for example having four different attires? You dont need four different attires. 2,000 moves, 1,970 of which you'll never use. Again whats the point?
They could have done with more matches but Ultimate X makes up for it & im sure the rest (Most of them anyway) will make it into the second version.
I havent noticed them yet, but are Kaz or Senshi in the game? Senshi was a pretty big part of the creative process so it seems only fair to put him in. But having not worked for TNA since the start of the year it wouldnt make sense having him in. Kaz, i dont know why is missing.

Senshi is the very last guy you unlock. you have to get so many style points before he is unlocked.
an easy way to get style points is just play handicap match and kick their ass for awhile while u keep gettin points. i did this with my friend, we just double teamed him for awhile and i got like 10k points.
Is this game worth £25 & sorry for bumpage just needed answer.
As i originally said, its really hard at time but it is very enjoyable to play. Its not like the Smackdown games wherein whoever gets the first hit ends up winning because their opponent doesnt be able to get back into it. Another differance is the ammount of damage you can take. In Smackdown, seven or eight finishers later and the match still isnt close to being over, in this i'll be suprised if you make it to three recieved in a singles match.
